Vahid Khoshkam, DDS, is a remarkably accomplished board-certified periodontist with 20 years of experience practicing dentistry. At El Paso Periodontics & Implant Specialists in El Paso, Texas, Dr. Khoshkam provides individualized care to patients seeking a wide variety of treatment options.

Dr. Khoshkam is a graduate of the prestigious University of Southern California (USC) advanced periodontology program where he received his specialty degree. He also earned a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology from USC. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has published numerous articles within the top-ranked dental journals in the world. 

Dr. Khoshkam lectures internationally, educating other dental practitioners. His expertise in the field has led him to become a leading author in periodontology, writing multiple chapters about the subject. Dr. Khoshkam is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Dental Research, one of the world’s most prestigious dental journals. His passion and dedication to his craft have led him to become one of the leading periodontists practicing in the field today.

Dr. Khoshkam lives in El Paso with his wife and two young boys. His love for El Paso and El Pasoans continues to grow, and he hopes to live here for many years to come.
